Workspace vs. Sanctuary

Miro is a shared whiteboard for working with colleagues, and it is very good at that. FutureSelf makes a private board of scenes with your own face. You can also place your FutureSelf scenes on a Miro board if you plan there.

Why Miro isn't enough

The 'Work' Association

Using Miro for a vision board is like doing yoga in your office cubicle. The environment is wrong.

Empty Canvas Paralysis

Miro gives you an infinite white void. It's intimidating. FutureSelf gives you a structure to fill.

Deep Dive #1

Context Switching

A work whiteboard carries work context: the same tab as your sprint board and your team's comments. Many people prefer to keep a personal goal somewhere separate. That is a preference, not a rule.

One selfie. 8 photoreal scenes of you on one board.
