What your board looks like
Why this matters for digital nomads
The version of this life that is sold is a laptop on a balcony, and the version people actually live is time zones, unstable internet, and the specific loneliness of leaving every friendship at the three-month mark. A board with only the balcony in it is why so many people go home within a year: the first hard stretch reads as a mistake rather than as the normal texture of the thing. Put the work in the picture - yourself doing the job that funds it, in a place you could afford, on an ordinary working day. The freedom is real. It is also a job.
Practically: include the income, the time zone you would work in, and a place you could actually afford, then set a review date at six months. Expect the three-month friendship cliff and plan for it. The visa and tax position is duller than the lifestyle and considerably more likely to end it.

Frequently asked
How does an AI vision board for digital nomads work?+
Upload one selfie, describe the life you want, get 8 photoreal scenes of you on one board. First scene free.
Is a vision board worth making for digital nomads?+
Lifestyle goals are felt more than measured, which makes them harder to plan than a number. A board makes the life you want concrete enough to choose between paths. The practical use is comparing today's routine with the one on the board and noticing what is actually in the way. It is a clarity tool, nothing more.
What does a vision board for digital nomads cost on FutureSelf?+
$4.90 one time, no subscription. The first scene is free, so you can check the result on your own face before paying. You get 8 photoreal scenes laid out as one board to download.
How is this different from a Canva or Pinterest board for digital nomads?+
Canva and Pinterest give you photos of other people. FutureSelf puts your own face into the scenes: they are drawn from your selfie by Google's Gemini image model. Whether that suits you better than a collage is something you can check on the free first scene.
